Alcohol Based Hand Sanitizers

Many otc (over the counter) hand sanitizers are alcohol based.  The biggest problem I've noticed is the percent of alcohol concentrations varies.  Many contain approximently 40% alcohol.  Studies indicate 40% ethanol is less effective bacterial antiseptic than 60% ethanol.  Consumers need to check alcohol concentrations of over the counter hand sanitizers before purchase.

  • Regular dental cleanings can help prevent heart attacks.
