Every once in a while you find a great tasting product in the strangest place. Case in point; Walden Farms products. At my local grocery, they have a very small section for diabetics in the side aisles next to toothpaste and tampons( imagine how diabetic people feel about that!).
These products by Walden Farm are calorie free, fat free, with no carbs, gluten or sugars of any kind. They say they do it with concentrated natural flavors. I love the Caesar dressing. It doesn't exactly taste like fat-full Caesar dressing, but its tasty. Because I love to eat salads every day, I like to have an alternative to the extra virgin olive oil with balsamic vinegar that I also use.
Many may say that this is processed and they must be using fake sweetners...My feeling on this issue is that I make a great effort to eat 'clean'. Many salad dressings are processed.I love my EVOO/balsamic mix, but I need diversity in my 'rigid' diet. These products have no calories and help me maintain the calorie zone I'm looking for.
